The Temple Wallet

Your family names and temple recommend, together and ready to go.

No more ordinance cards bent at the bottom of your bag or loose in a coat pocket. The Temple Wallet gives your family names and your recommend one dedicated place, so you can walk into the temple with everything you need and your mind on what matters.

Slim, soft, and made to protect
Made of faux leather, the wallet has a soft, polished feel and helps shield your cards from bending, creasing, and everyday wear. At about 5.5 x 4 inches and just 0.34 inches thick, it slips easily into a temple bag, purse, or pocket, with plenty of room to keep your family ordinance cards flat and organized.

Your recommend fits, case and all
There’s a spot for your temple recommend that’s roomy enough to hold it inside a standard recommend case. You don’t have to choose between your case and your wallet.

Ready for every trip
Use it to gather names before a family temple trip, or keep it in your temple bag so your recommend and cards are always where you expect them.

What it holds

Your temple recommend and your printed family ordinance cards, kept flat and together. Add your exact dimensions and card capacity here.

Use a digital recommend?

Family name cards are still printed on paper, so the wallet keeps them organized either way, with a place for a physical recommend if you carry one.

Shipping & returns

How it works

From your printer to the temple, and back home.

  1. Print your family names

Reserve names in FamilySearch, then print your ordinance cards at home or at the temple.

  2. Keep them together

Slip the cards into your Temple Wallet next to your temple recommend. Everything stays flat, clean and in one place.

  3. Bring them home

After the ordinances are recorded, you can ask the temple office for your completed cards and keep them with your family history.

Questions

Good to know.

Can't find what you're looking for? Contact us and we'll be glad to help.

What does The Temple Wallet hold?

It is designed to hold your temple recommend and your printed family ordinance cards together in one place. You'll find exact dimensions and capacity on the product page.

Is it for men or women?

Both. The design is intentionally classic and understated, so it suits men, women and youth alike, whether it goes in a jacket pocket, a bag or alongside your scriptures.

I use a digital recommend on my phone. Do I still need it?

Many members now carry their recommend in the Member Tools app, but family name cards are still printed on paper. The Temple Wallet keeps those cards flat and organized, and it has a place for a physical recommend if you carry one.

Can I keep my family name cards after the ordinances are done?

Yes. Temples don't keep family name cards on file, but you can ask for your cards in the temple office once the ordinances are recorded that same day. The wallet is an easy way to bring them home safely.

Does it make a good gift?

It's a thoughtful gift for a newly endowed member, a missionary, a youth going to the temple for the first time, or a couple preparing to be sealed.

Is this an official Church product?

No. The Temple Wallet is made by an independent small business. It is not made, sponsored or endorsed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
